Superyacht Virginian Completes Extensive Refit

Virginian, a classic 62-meter Feadship superyacht, has completed an extensive refit at the Atlantic Refit Center in La Rochelle, France. Arriving in November 2023, Virginian concluded its works last week. This refit represented a complex process, requiring meticulous attention to every detail to modernize and enhance the vessel’s functionalities.

Delivered in 1990, Virginian embodies timeless elegance with its classic exterior lines designed by Studio De Voogt. It was the first Feadship to have four full decks, with features such as the hydraulic transom hatch, concealed tender storage, and separate captain’s lounge considered ahead of its time.

This refit involved a series of works, including the complete removal of anti fouler to prepare the vessel for a new hull paintjob, rejuvenation of interior spaces with technological and comfort enhancements, as well as technical upgrades to ensure Virginian’s optimal performance.

The refit yard recently welcomed the 42-meter Vitters sailing yacht Sharlou, highlighting the Atlantic Refit Center’s reputation as a premier destination for world-renowned superyacht refits.
